Vomit the Soul
Nice to see a new release from the great EBOLIE! They come here for a split release with MAXIMUM PERVERSION, also coming from Australia, and playing first. MAXIMUM PERVERSION plays nice Gore Death Grind, 9 very good tracks of groovy and catchy sick music reminding of CARCASS and IMPETIGO with touches a la HAMORRHAGE, but also early SANITYS DAWN for the most Goregrind parts. Excellent first part for this split release actually, coming with funy titles for their tracks, such as "Devastational Frost of Rectumnal Winter" or "De-bloused in the Cumaotriuom", ahah! Another killing Grind band coming from Australia! Nice!

Well, EBOLIE comes for the 2nd half of the split, with 8 new tracks. I did not listen to their previous "Let Loose" EP, but their previous full length "Elevation into Disintegration" is a fucking masterpiece of Grind Core!! What's new with this split CD? EBOLIE still plays the same kind of Grind Core, in a rather modern style, globally in the vein of CEREBRAL TURBULENCY meeting NASUM, but it would be a mistake to name only these 2 bands to describe EBOLIE! Their sounds and influences are really numerous and the result is just 100% original and very diversified!! Actually, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, ALIENATION MENTAL, PIGSTY, EXTREME NOISE TERROR or even CRYPTOPSY can be named too!! Plus, add Jazz, Funk, Crust and Punk influences in interludes and breaks and all is said!! Always innovating, never boring, 100% intense and fucking surprising!! To conclude, we got here an excellent split release to fuck your ears and to drink your beers, of course! BUY OR DIE!! BUY OR DIE!! and buy some beers too before, eheh! BUY OR DIE!!

And again some news of Australian grindcore label! This time we have really awesome split CD! The first band is MAXIMUM PERVERSION with 8 blasts. The bad thing is I didn’t hear about this band before, and they were formed back in 1996 yet! Looks like old and experienced band. And as for music, here’s really killing stuff for fans of grinding grind, he-he. Concretely the music of our guests isn’t into grind only, because here’s really decent stuff into death/grind massacre. Death metal massive dense riffs together with grindcore catch, made in furious yet heavy way. Songs are short but nevertheless there are enough of time for understanding what the band is and to headbang by its head into the walls, he-he! I liked also the fact musicians not into modern style of death-grind, and their music has really heavy power, obscurity and catchiness! Each song is memorable and pretty good composed, with lots of tempo-changes and so on... I think you can wait for an interview with these bastards somewhere in the next issues of Antichrist!

Then comes yet one old Australian band EBOLIE (I hope many of you know these sickos as well!) with its 7 bloody vomits? The music of these is killing also! EBOLIE plays unstandard mix of death-grind mixed with some experimental things. Here are lots of dense and just killing death metal riffs and great growl with screams. Music is fast yet really catching and unpredictable, here are lots of variations while songs playing time, now you can be tortured by death metal massacres then you can hear light instrumental melodies (while every song almost), so yes, music made in various tempos and rhythms. I like their attitude to the extreme scene, and if you didn’t hear EBOLIE still, don’t hesitate to check out their stuff (as I know they have about 5 released CD’s, splits, albums and etc). For fans of CRYPTOPSY, old NAPALM DEATH and from time to time you can hear to some CANNIBAL CORPSE touches also! 4+\5
